As good as it gets in every respect: breathability (cool in hot weather, warm in cold weather), cushioning, comfort, durability, longevity, odor resistance. The family that makes these socks has owned the merino-wool mill in Vermont for 40 years, making socks specifically for rugged-outdoors comfort and durability. I’ve tried every type of sock that they make, and they’re all great, but I prefer this T4033 (boot-height, heavyweight, full cushion) because it has max cushioning and temperature regulation. Because the T4033 is so comfortable it’s also fine for casual wear. Unconditional lifetime guarantee but I don’t see any signs of wear. Thanks ESD for stocking these; they make a big difference during extended duty.
